TIME AND TIDAL FLOW; WAVES

Dual screen interactive installation, commissioned by Hull Time Based Arts 2008
Filmed at Spurn Point near Hull, sequences of waves are played back by a custom software algorithm that dynamically reconfigures the frame sequencing of the footage in response to the collective movement of the audience; disrupting the flow of the footage and the waves.
As the audience played with the footage we were reminded of playing, dancing moving on the beach and the emotions associated with play, space and the seaside.
