40 animated medium-format transparencies follow the circumference of a field at Middleton Top - the site of one of the first static steam engine-houses. The audio is a film-projector slowed down or speeded up to reflect the frame rate of the images. The resulting animation examines the transition between still and moving and teeters on the edge of representing a filmic entirety.
