Both single screen versions of The Fairs: Kamikaze and Star Flyer (2016) were shown as part of as part of Cinema Paradiso during the HOME Artist Film Weekender 2018, HOME’s fourth annual celebration of the wild, inventive world of artist film. Cinema Paradiso launched the weekender Thursday 29 November at Paradise Works with an evening of expanded film, video and experimental sound performances .
The evening was brilliantly organised and put together by Chris Daniels and Jamie Allen and I was among the very good company of Maybelle Peters, Jenny Baines, Bea Haut, Karel Doing, Andrew James Brooks & IMPATV and Raz Ullah. The weekender ran from Friday 30 November 2018 to Sunday 02 December 2018.
