The Organ Man; Bernard and Jimmy

Bernard and his monkey Jimmy attract passers by who fall in and out of composition allowing an examination of the elements and structure of the image. This ongoing chain of group portraits both interrupts and extends the fixed frame of the video image. The winding of the paper rolls of music through the organ has resonance with the passing of film through the camera or projector.
